Golden Latte For Nurturing Moments

Golden latte recipe for healthier eating habits

Are you looking for a warm, delicious drink packed with nutrients and a fantastic alternative to coffee? One you can even drink right before bed?

Look no further!

Golden Latte, also known as Turmeric Latte or golden milk, is a hyped-up drink sold in trendy cafes, speciality grocery stores, and supplement stores/companies.

Want to know why it’s so popular and how to make it yourself in only 5 minutes?

What’s The Hype?

One food recommendation that most experts can agree on is that turmeric, ginger, and spices should be part of a healthy diet.

There are several ways of making this gorgeous latte, but the main star in all recipes is the turmeric.

For thousands of years, turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. Curcumin, its biologically active compound, has been used to treat skin disorders, respiratory problems, joint pain relief, and digestive disorders to name a few.

The supplement industry, worth hundreds of billions (and rising), has picked up on this, and you can now buy an endless number of pastes, supplements, spices, drinks, shots, yes even food containing turmeric!

So be aware of research, studies, and professionals subsidised by these companies!

I love making this myself, and I do believe that the delicious aroma of the spice mix has a calming effect on my nervous system! Everything else is just a bonus!

To help your body absorb the curcumin it needs piperine, which is found in black pepper (hence the pepper in the recipe).
